I'm also author of several breeding caresheets and articles. I cooperate to the production and publication of the first Italian magazine about turtles of the world, TESTUDO MAGAZINE. I actively join the ESF, the European program of captive breeding of different kinds of turtles. I’m member of several italian and international associations, among ATCN - Asian Turtle Conservation Network, EFTBA - European Freshwater Turtle Breeders' Association, AREr – Associazione Romana Erpetologica, AAE – Associazione Animali Esotici. thanks a lot

Bio: I have kept various turtles and tortoises since I was 21 years old. The most memorable snakeneck story I have took place on our honeymoon. After having spent a couple of days in Virginia Beach I talked my new wife into going pet store browsing. The first store we went to had a huge collection of exotic turtles, to include a Chelodina longicollis that was begging to go home with us (well, me). I bought the turtle and took it back to our hotel room for safekeeping in the bathtub! My wife has never let forget that one...and yes, we are still married after 22 years and numerous turtles later.
